A Calling

By Araldo Cossutta, Architect FAIA

In 1991, Marie-Noelle de La Poype reaches the crossroads of her ambitions of always and makes a commitment to her real vocation: the art of the sculpture. She then joins the Academy of Brussels.

Today, about twenty years later, we have an exceptional corpus of original works made of stone, bronze, plastic and more particularly skeletons of the biggest mammals existing on Earth, all transformed by the ideas and vision of the artist as symbols of creativity, beauty and human hope.

It is the best of Marie-Noelle which we contemplating here: sophisticated, audacious, whatever the medium or the dimensions are, from miniature to monumental sizes, she perfects creations with the dexterity and the refinement of a virtuoso.
